Feelin' the Blues

There are many occasions to wear a dress and since the time of year is still winter, but many have spring fever, there is no better way to beat the winter blues than buying a pretty dress.

If you have a floral print of any sort, pull it out, get it ready to rock, and throw it on. Though the weather may be cold, you don't have to only wear neutrals during this time of year. Whether it is a floral print in bright colors or darker ones, it's a great look. In fact, most likely, it will make everyone around you smile to see some color!

When wearing a floral dress in the winter, make sure you accessorize correctly by first, picking out a pair of tights, leggings, or fishnets to go with the look. Another idea is to wear colored leggings or tights, with lace leggings  or tights over them to add texture to the look. You could do this with fishnets as well.

The perfect combination with floral is leather, it gives a hint of edge to the look. So throw on your leather bomber and get after it! (A cardigan will work as well, or faux fur, depending on what look you're going after).

Any boot, bootie, or flat shoe will do. Chain necklaces and studs for earrings will complete the look.

So if you're getting under the weather, or feel like a change of scenery, this is the perfect way to boost your mood and make you feel like you're in another place.
