Blessed are they who do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. (Matthew 5:6)
What would happen to your house plants if you didn't water them for weeks. Needless to say, they will first wither. Then they would die of thirst.
What would happen to your spirit if you didn't water and feed it constantly. Like your house plants, your spirit would die.
We must feed and give our spirit nourishment daily in order for it to be radiant and vibrant.
So the question becomes:
"How do you water and feed your spirit?"
The answer is quite simple:
You feed your spirit with the word of God. You quench your thirst with the word of God. Nothing else can. Only the word of God can feed you till you want no more. Only the word of God can quench that insatiable thirst.
Read, study, meditate on and obey the word of God.
