These food on a stick ideas are great for social parties, showers, birthdays, and is perfect football food! It is also a fun item to bring to a potluck lunch or dinner.

These days you can put just about anything on a stick and people will love it. The following recipes may be the mini me of their full size versions; however the flavors and textures pack a punch and stand strong on their bamboo toothpick!

Fun Foods on a stick

BLT on a stick

  • 16 (1-inch) squares rye bread, divided
  • 8 (1/2-inch) wedges iceberg lettuce
  • 8 slices cooked bacon
  • 4 grape tomatoes, halved
  • 8 bamboo toothpicks
  1. Thread 1 rye bread square, lettuce wedge, bacon slice, tomato half, and 1 rye bread square onto each toothpick, respectively.

Pasta Salad on a stick

  • 8 cheese tortellini
  • 8 slices thinly sliced salami
  • 8 sprigs fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 artichoke hearts, quartered
  • 4 grape tomatoes, halved
  • 8 (1 inch) cubes fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 4 pitted black olives, halved
  • 8 bamboo toothpicks
  1. Bring a small pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook tortellini in the boiling water until pasta floats to the top, 1 to 2 minutes; drain.
  2. Thread 1 tortellini, 1 salami slice, 1 sprig parsley, 1 artichoke heart quarter, 1 tomato half, 1 mozzarella cheese cube, and 1 olive half, respectively, onto a toothpick. Repeat threading with remaining toothpicks.

Wedge Salad on a stick

  • 8 (1-inch) wedges iceberg lettuce
  • 4 strips cooked bacon, cut in half
  • 8 grape tomatoes
  • 8 bamboo toothpicks
  • 8 teaspoons blue cheese salad dressing
  • 8 teaspoons crumbled blue cheese, or more to taste
  1. Thread each lettuce wedge, bacon piece, and grape tomato onto each toothpick, respectively. Arrange toothpicks on a serving platter. Drizzle 1 teaspoon blue cheese dressing over each and sprinkle with blue cheese.

Greek salad on a stick

  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano, or to taste
  • 8 (1/2 inch) cubes feta cheese
  • 8 1/2-inch cucumber slices
  • 8 grape tomatoes
  • 8 Kalamata olives, pitted
  • 8 bamboo toothpicks
  1. Pour oregano into a shallow bowl. Roll each feta cheese cube in oregano to coat.
  2. Thread 1 cucumber, 1 tomato, 1 olive, and 1 feta cube onto a toothpick. Repeat with remaining toothpicks.

Chicken Caesar salad on a stick

  • 8 croutons
  • 8 (1-inch) wedges romaine lettuce
  • 8 (1 ounce) cubes cooked chicken
  • 8 (1/2-inch) cubes Parmesan cheese, or to taste
  • 8 bamboo toothpicks
  • 8 teaspoons Caesar salad dressing
  1. Thread a crouton, romaine lettuce wedge, chicken cube, and Parmesan cheese cube onto each toothpick, respectively. Arrange toothpicks on a serving platter and drizzle Caesar salad dressing over each.

Antipasto on a stick

  • 8 slices salami, rolled
  • 8 (1/2 inch) cubes mozzarella cheese
  • 8 pitted black olives
  • 4 marinated artichoke hearts, drained and halved
  • 8 leaves fresh basil, rolled
  • 8 bamboo toothpicks
  • 8 teaspoons olive oil
  1. Thread each salami roll, mozzarella cheese, olive, tomato, artichoke heart, and basil roll onto each toothpick, respectively. Arrange toothpicks on a serving platter and drizzle olive oil over each.

Prosciutto and Melon on a stick

  • 8 cantaloupe balls
  • 8 prosciutto slices
  • 8 green grapes
  • 8 red grapes
  • 8 bamboo toothpicks
  1. Thread a cantaloupe ball, prosciutto slice, green grape, and red grape onto each toothpick, respectively.

Watermelon salad on a stick

  • 8 (1 inch) cubes watermelon
  • 8 (1/2 inch) cubes feta cheese
  • 8 fresh mint leaves
  • 8 bamboo toothpicks
  1. Thread 1 watermelon cube, 1 feta cheese cube, and 1 mint leaf onto a toothpick. Repeat with remaining toothpicks.
