February Welcomes SHE to the Capital City (Photos)

Who is SHE; or more like what is SHE? SHE, in the words of Jacqui Bomar, SHE’s founder, is the ultimate girls’ night out. From February 8th through 10th, the Columbia Metropolitan Center will be filled with vendors specializing in fashion, culinary arts, beauty, lifestyle and crafts.

“SHE is a party, a culinary experience, a learning opportunity and a shopping spree, all rolled into one. With fashion shows, demonstrations, giveaways, celebrity appearances and hundreds of vendors and boutiques, SHE is the ultimate girls’ night (or afternoon) out.”

Although, SHE was recently established and introduced to Columbia last year, the event is already evolving and growing. Started initially as a women’s show, SHE is now not just a show, but an experience, an experience that focuses on six aspects of a women’s life—style, crave, entertainment, create, live and care. This year, while partnering with Flock and Rally, a well-known and reputable Columbia based marketing outfit, SHE promises to engage, educate and entertainment the women of Columbia like never before.

The event kicks off February 8th at 6pm with the Indulge Party featuring a live concert performance from Elise Testone of American Idol and lip readings from Ariana Lightningstorm, certified lipsologist. Throughout the rest of the weekend, guests can enjoy consultations, crafting, culinary classes, tastings and other surprises. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Women’s Shelter, and attendees can get reduced admission when they bring five can good items as a donation to Harvest Hope Food Bank.
