February is the month of love and the promise of spring ahead as warmer weather makes a slow pace, bringing the great thaw causing things to grow. The Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum offers more teen/adult programs with some special surprises.

Plan Bee
On Saturday, February 1 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., the Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum is offering Plan Bee program, for teens and adults. Cost is $10.00 for members and $15.00 for non-members. Pre-registration is required.

Discover native bees and how to attract these helpful pollinators to your garden. Build a Mason Bee House by using a drill press.

Moss Workshop
On Saturday, February 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum is offering Moss Workshop program, suitable for teens and adults. Cost is a $10.00 donation to the NHSM. Pre-registration is required.

Study selected mosses found in the park with the Natural History Society of Maryland.
