February school vacation week values at the Royal Sonesta Hotel Boston

The Royal Sonesta Hotel Boston is going all out for February school vacation week. The hotel, situated on the banks of the Charles River and literally across the street from the CambridgeSide Galleria Mall’s 120 shops, is offering its Family Fun Package with lots of amenities. First of all the room rate can’t be beat, $179 per night for a lovely room that accommodates up to four people, two adults and two children.

Along with this comes four VIP passes to the Museum of Science, a $60 value, located next door to the Sonesta, bedtime cookies and milk, and, as long as one adult purchases an entrée the kids can eat free in the Sonesta’s comfortable stylish ArtBar restaurant where the desserts are heavenly. For fine dining there’s Restaurant dante offering chef Dante DeMagistris’ inspired Italian cuisine with stunning views of the Charles River and the Boston skyline as a backdrop.

Before or after you spend the day exploring Boston and Cambridge, the hotel offers free shuttle service to both cities; you can take a dip in the relaxing atrium topped swimming pool, enjoy movies and video games in your room, or work out in the 24-hour health club.

The Sonesta is filled with stunning art by such artists as Andy Warhol, Buckminster Fuller, Frank Stella and Sir Anthony Caro. Be sure to pick up a copy of their art walk map at the front desk for a free self-guided tour of these stunning works that are sprinkled throughout the hotel.
