"Miami Half Marathon

According to usroadsports site, “the Miami Half Marathon has certainly become a favorite for runners throughout the world. Many come to Miami for the course as it is fast and dramatically inspiring. Runners of the Miami Half Marathon will start together with their friends running the Miami Marathon and then they will finish at the same Finish Line. The only deviation occurs in the last 800 meters of the race.

All participants need to be in the runner corrals no later than 5:55 AM. Corrals will close at that time. Participants are asked to adhere to 'courtesy corralling.' Start corrals will not be labeled with bib numbers this year, instead with corresponding letter & color; please find your appropriate corral.

Farmers Market

This urban farmers market, located at 50 Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami, will provide fresh, local produce, sour dough breads and pastries, local honey, orchids, herb plants and much more. The market, funded by The Miami Foundation's Public Space Challenge and the Health Foundation of South Florida, is also about repurposing public spaces into community gathering areas.
