Mother nature is a funny thing and she means to keep it that way, on your toes. You might have noticed this from my Lake Lanier fishing report. Especially if you are fishing a lake that has a lot of grasses and vegetation the 'lipless' is perfect right now.
The lipless crank works well in three feet of water or less, and when you are retrieving it back to the boat, just 'fleck the top of the grass gently, that will get the fish striking. Take your time and get the feel of the grasses, there's one in there just waiting to take your bait. The strikes will happen on the fall be prepared.
On sunny days black gold is a good one to catch on and red matches the color of crawfish in the winter. Fish on.
