February food events warm the soul during winter's frigid weather

February 12-13 – Annual Wine & Chocolate Weekend - Nearly 30 wineries statewide are expected to participate in the annual Wine Trail which features a Valentine's Day theme. Many of the wineries will be featuring tastings specifically pairing their red and blush wines with assortments of chocolates made by local chocolatiers along with other gourmet treats traditionally associated with the biggest romance days of the year.

February 19-20 - Annual Wine & Chocolate Weekend – Alba Vineyards, Milford - The event will offer visitors a chance to learn more about wine, wine making, and wine tasting with unique chocolate and food pairings, as well as provide the opportunity to stock up on award-winning Alba wines. Hourly wine cellar tours will also be offered.

February 20 - Annie’s Project: Farm Women Conference, Cumberland County College,Vineland and on February 21 at Conference Center in Mercer, West Windsor. Annie’s Project gives New Jersey women farmers the tools to help them succeed The full day conference and networking lunch costs $25.00 for the day. In addition, the Conference offers the chance to meet and learn from other farm women, network with potential customers and form connections with industry professionals.
