Keeping marriages strong is a focus of Rev. Dr. T.L. and 1st Lady Nell Brown. The Exciting Ervay Cedar Baptist Churst will host their second Marriage Conference. Since February is celebrated for may things: Black History Month and Valentines Day, this is the perfect time for married couples to get away to themselves from kids, grandkids, etc. They can look forward to becoming enlightened and informed, a romantic dinner with live jazz music, a buffet breakfast, games, door prizes, shop with vendors and much more!
Dr. T.L. and 1st Lady Nell Brown share details. "This is our second Marriage Conference. This Conference will be held at the Doubletree Hotel, 8520 N. Central Expressway. The days for the Conference are February 15-16, 2013. The Conference Theme: "Improving The Quality of Your Marriage" Scripture: Solomon chapter 4-5 and Ephesians 5. Conference Instructors will be Pastor Karry & Cheryl Wesley of Antioch Fellowship Baptist Church. This Conference will be impactful. enlightening and informative to all couples. There will be a session on Friday night with a romantic dinner following with music by Jeffery Aycock. A professional photographer will be on site to take pictures. Late night session the couples will play a Game-How Well Do You Know Your Mate. Saturday Morning will start with a Buffet Breakfast, then 2 sessions following. Door prizes will be given out on both days of the conference. There will also be vendors on site."
The Browns also tell why they are hosting this Conference. "We are hosting this Conference because satan is attacking the family unit. Families are being torn apart because of the breakdown in the home with husband and wife. "WHAT GOD HAS JOIN TOGETHER LET NO MAN PUT ASUNDER." This conference will help couples to unlock the mystery called marriage. Couples can call the church to registar. The cost is only $200.00 per couple."
