February brings Valentine Day deals and the promise of Spring

February brings a host of special offers, many focused on Valentine's Day this year and ranging from a six course chef's special menu at Legal Harborside at $85 per person or $125 with paired wines; seafood specialties at Estelle's Southern Cuisine, a four course prix fixe from Executive Chef Robert Tobin at Aura in the Seaport Hotel ($70@ or $85 with wines); and numerous other offerings across the city.

At Red Lantern in the Back Bay, February brings Double Feature specials that include Strongbow Cider for only $4 apiece, and both Cusumano Syrah and Seven Falls Chardonnay for just $8 all month long. Enjoy Chef Kevin Long's creative Asian cuisine with these delicious beverage specials.

Meanwhile, Fogo de Chao invites guests who make Valentine's Day reservations to receive a complimentary gift card for a free lunch or dinner at any Fogo de Chao in the chain.

Chefs Jamie Bissonnette and Ken Oringer will create a special three-course menu including "Lady and the Tramp" Spaghetti and Meatballs, seared foie gras with tamarind and persimmon,banana and Nutella bread pudding and more, along with other specialties at Coppa.

At Rosa Mexicano in the Seaport, check out Valentine's Day Guacamole with pomegranate and roasted almonds, Salmon en Pepito, Guacamole de Helado (ice cream with fresh strawberries, white chocolate shavings and Mexican wedding cookie crunch, served with chocolate dusted buñuelos. Enjoy the meal complete with live mariachis, Latin guitarists, complimentary Fruits of Love salsa and more.

Treat your special Valentine to a romantic Valentine's package in Boston at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel from February 7 to February 17 with rates starting at $389. And don't forget, this year's Valentine's Day weekend includes the Boston Wine Expo, said to be the country's largest consumer wine exposition at the Seaport World Trade Center. The Vintner's Reserve Lounge offers rare and expensive vintages for the serious wine lover along with tastings from top city restaurants. Tickets at $185 a head include tastings from 25 wineries, complimentary culinary samples, and more.

Chefs and winemaker dinners at the Seaport Hotel, a special VIP admission program, and numerous educational seminars with top winemakers priced from $25 to $50 let you sip and learn at the same time. Other highlights include culinary demos by celebrity chefs and samples from various restaurants stationed on the Show floor.
