In the Dallas SPCA
Carmen is a beautiful black Labrador Retriever mix. She is full grown at 109 pounds, and she is a mature girl at seven years old, but she still has plenty of playful puppy years in her. Carmen's previous owners brought her to the SPCA of Texas on January 14 because they couldn`t afford to keep her any longer. She is an outgoing girl who is mellow and very affectionate. She gets along very well with adults, but she has never been around young children before, so please bring the whole family down to the shelter to meet Carmen. She is very smart and is already housetrained and knows "sit" on command. Like any fun-loving Lab, Carmen loves to play in the water, so a trip to the lake or a day in the pool sounds great to her! Come visit her today at the SPCA of Texas' Dallas shelter. #12227498
Giddy up folks! This love bug is Mustang, and he's ready for some outdoor adventures with you. He is a 1-year-old, Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who is very friendly and always ready to play. His previous owner surrendered him to the SPCA of Texas on January 8 because he was too big for their home. Mustang is a large boy weighing almost 50 pounds, and he is an active pup, so he needs lots of room to run around. He is also very smart and eager to please, so as long y'all play lots of games, he will be the best friend you have ever had. Mustang also has a special need. He is deaf, and he needs a loving, patient owner who will teach him hand signs so he can understand commands. He is very curious, and he loves to sniff everything he sees so he will probably be a great trail dog! Please come see this handsome cow dog today at the SPCA of Texas' Dallas shelter. He's also a V.I.P. (Very Important Pet) because he's been waiting for his new, loving family for more than 30 days, and he has a special adoption price of $50! #12192339
Meow! This kitty is Tux, and she's a stunning, black and white Domestic Shorthair kitty. She has georgeous, yellow eyes and a pretty white chest and cute, little white paws. She is three years old, and Tux was transferred to the SPCA of Texas on January 6 in hopes of finding her new home. She is very affectionate, but she can be somewhat fiesty when she gets in one of her moods. She is very good with adults, but she would probably do best in a family without small children. Tux also really loves being the center of attention, so she would also prefer to be the only kitty in the house. She's never met any dogs before, so if they were to meet, that may take some getting used to, but she's not completely opposed to the drooling canine. Tux is a really loving girl, and she waiting here for the perfect family to come take her home! #12181038
Purrrrrrr, may I introduce Coco Chanel? She doesn't mean to be brag, but she is one gorgeous kitty cat. Her name suits her well, she must say. Coco has a beautiful, soft, fluffy fur coat and stunning, green eyes. She's a little shy at first, but she will warm up quickly if you just give her some time. She's very affectionate, and she loves to rub her head against you. She also loves to be the center of attention, so she would do best as the only kitty in your family. Coco Chanel is a 5-year-old, Domestic Longhair and Persian mix, so she needs her long, fur coat to be brushed often. Hairballs aren`t really her style. She was surrendered on November 30, and she's been waiting for her new, loving home ever since. Please come visit Coco today at the Dallas shelter, and I promise you will fall in love with this lovely lady. #9312434
