February 9: Albuquerque’s The Jamspot hosts Torture Victim and guests

On February 9, Albuquerque’s The Jamspot presents Torture Victim, Weaponizer, Genocide, Noctiphetamine, and Holocaustic. This all-ages show starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $7.

Hailing from Albuquerque, Torture Victim describe themselves as follows: “An in-your-face extreme-metal assault.” The band’s new full-length studio CD is titled Of Darkness and Power.

Colorado’s Weaponizer play what they like to call high-speed, blackened biker krust. Check out the band’s debut two-track self-titled EP at bandcamp.

New Mexico’s Genocide play thrash metal. Band influences include Slayer, Megadeth, Testament, and Iron Maiden.
