From writer and director Dennis Lee comes the drama film Fireflies in the Garden with a stellar cast including Julia Roberts, Ryan Reynolds, Willem Dafoe, Emily Watson, Carrie-Anne Moss and Hayden Panettiere. Inspired by the poem of the same name by the legendary Robert Frost, it tells the story of the Taylor family and their struggles after a heartbreaking tragedy strikes. When the matriarch of the family dies in a fatal car accident on the way to a family reunion, the family’s dysfunctional secrets are threatened to be exposed by the resentful son Michael’s autobiographical novel.
Behind the picturesque Midwestern family facade lies a tormenting marriage, infidelity and an abusive father. As the grieving family falls apart, Michael must find inner strength to pull the family back together and the will to forgive the past.
Fireflies in the Garden will be available on DVD with A Flash of Life: The Making of Fireflies in the Garden featurette. At this time, there is no Blu-ray release.
