February 22: The Gasworks unleash Loathe and guests

On February 2, Albuquerque’s The Gasworks unleash Loathe, Triumph over Shipwreck, BarbarianTX, The Scarlet Ruse, Hollow Tongue, TwelveXTitans, La Haine, and Tyrants. Doors for this all-ages event open at 6 p.m. Entry is only $7.

Albuquerque’s Loathe play an aggressive combination of hardcore and metal. They count as influences Pantera and Slayer. Loathe have a new EP out, this one titled Heresy.

Texas’ Triumph over Shipwreck play a combination of progressive metal and hardcore. Check out the band’s three-track EP Crowncrusher at bandcamp.

Established in 2008 in Texas, BarbarianTX play hardcore. Check out the band’s EP Ashes to Ashes at bandcamp.

Albuquerque’s The Scarlet Ruse play a combination of hardcore and metal. The band has a new EP, The Truth About Lamia, available on itunes.

Albuquerque’s Hollow Tongue play melodic hardcore. They previously played under the moniker ATLAS. Get their S/T EP at bandcamp.

Albuquerque’s TwelvexTitans play straight edge hardcore. The band features members from The Eden Betrayal, Sanctuary, and Among Oceans.

Albuquerque’s La Haine play a mix of screamo, punk, and post-hardcore. Check out their two-track demo at bandcamp.

Rio Rancho’s Tyrants play a combination of hardcore, metal, and ambient.
