February 2013 coffee with the curators at Arizona State Museum (Video)

The February 2013 Coffee with the Curators event will be from 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at the Arizona State Museum. This is a free event that provides visitors with an opportunity to have informal conversations with museum curators. During the event you can enjoy fresh baked cookies and fresh brewed coffee donated by Paradise Bakery and Cafe

The featured curator to talk with at this month's Coffee with the Curators is Event Coordinator Daniel Vander Ploeg. He will be available to talk about the history of the Southwest Indian Art Fair and some of the artists that will be at this year's fair later in February.

About the Arizona State Museum: This museum is located on the University of Arizona's campus at 1013 E University Blvd. The Arizona State Museum first opened in 1893 making it the oldest as well as the largest anthropology museum in the Southwest United States. Admission is $5 for ages 18 and up. Admission is free for those under 18 as well as for U of A and PCC students with ID. The museum is open from 10am to 5pm Mondays through Saturdays. It is normally closed on Sundays as well as state and federal holidays.
