It’s “Metal Thursdays” at Albuquerque’s Hooligans! On February 16, prepare yourself for Friend 2 Foe, Cast in Your Shadow, Dope Riddle, and An American Tragedy. Doors for this 21+ show open at 6:00 pm, with the show scheduled from 7:00 pm to 2:00 am. Entry is a cheap $3.
Hailing from Espanola and San Juan, Friend 2 Foe play a mix of traditional heavy metal and nu-metal.
Fortressed at Albuquerque’s Kirtland Air Force Base, Cast in Your Shadow describe their sound as “a mix of Atreyu and As I Lay Dying.” The band is presently working on putting together a demo and is booking shows throughout New Mexico and beyond.
Hailing from Albuquerque, Dope Riddle play an eclectic but searing combination of funk, hardcore, and thrash metal. The band includes among their influences bands such as Tech 9 and Slayer.
One of Albuquerque’s coolest music venues, Hooligans has it all, from full-liquor service (40 brands of beer on tap) to a wicked stage with an 8,000-watt PA.
