On February 14, Malarky’s hosts Smile Empty Soul, Rusty Tramp, Twist of Fate, and In the End. Doors for this 21+ show open at 8 p.m., with the first band taking the stage at 9 p.m. Tickets are $5 in advance.

Formed in 1998, California’s Smile Empty Soul play post-grunge with facets of alternative metal. The band’s latest full-length studio CD is titled Chemicals.

Hailing from Rio Rancho, Rusty Tramp play a combination of hard rock and heavy metal. Get their new self-titled EP from Polygram Music Group.

Albuquerque’s Twist of Fate play a combination of reggae and ska. The band’s latest full-length studio CD is titled Positivity.

Formed in 2006 in Taos, New Mexico, In the End play progressive rock and metal. This four-piece band has released its debut CD, titled On Angel’s Wings, which provides a ride through intense, hard-hitting rhythms, psychedelic flourish, and an evocative voice.
