February 12: Throw the Temple and guests perform at the Launchpad

On February 12, Albuquerque’s own Launchpad presents Throw the Temple, Oh Be Clever, Gimme My Moon Back, and Acceptable Losses. Doors for this 21+ show are scheduled to open at 8 p.m., with the first band taking the stage at 9 p.m. Entry is $4 but is subject to change at the door.

Originally known as Silent Ducks, Albuquerque’s Throw the Temple play alternative rock. Their influences include Tool, Alice in Chains, and Queens of the Stone Age.

Hailing from Albuquerque, Gimme My Moon Back play an eclectic mix of reggae, alternative, and folk rock.

Acceptable Losses play alternative rock. Sample the band’s vibes at bandcamp.

Around since 1997, Albuquerque’s Launchpad has played host to bands of numerous genres, including punk, indie rock, and metal. The Launchpad is located on 618 Central Avenue Southwest, which is between 6th and 7th streets.
