Escondido's Downtown Business Association invites San Diego county to visit and sample from the Historic District on February 8th for their 4th annual For the Love of Chocolate and Sweet Art Festival. Historic Grand Avenue is reinvented into "Sweet Street" as shops and purveyors offer treats to festival patrons.

Locally brewed beer and wine will be paired with San Diego fine chocolates while local Escondido restaurant owners feature their own samples. Valentines can take a horse-drawn carriage ride down Grand Avenue. Live music performances are also included

For 10 beer and chocolate pairings, tickets are on sale online here for $35 until 5PM on February 7th. Must be 21 years old or older to participate and designated driver tickets are available online as well for a discounted $20.

Festivities begin at 1PM of February 8th and wrap up at 5PM. Leaving plenty of time for a romantic dinner at one of the Historic District's many restaurants.
