Community (NBC, 8 p.m.) – “History 101” – In the fourth season premiere, the Study Group returns from summer break ready to tackle their fourth year of Community College. Jeff (Joel McHale) is particularly focused on graduating and is just a few credits away. When there is a mix-up with a history class registration, Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) institutes an elaborate physical competition for class space. Meanwhile, Britta (Gillian Jacobs) helps Abed (Danny Pudi) deal with the anxiety he is experiencing over the thought of the study group graduating and breaking up.
Parks and Recreation (NBC, 8:30 p.m.) – “Ann’s Decision” – After several unsuccessful relationships Ann (Rashida Jones) makes a dramatic life decision. Ben (Adam Scott) enlists the help of Chris (Rob Lowe), Tom (Aziz Ansari), and Ron (Nick Offerman) to choose a caterer for the wedding, while April (Aubrey Plaza) has to handle one of Leslie's (Amy Poehler) usual tasks.
Scandal (ABC, 10 p.m.) – “Nobody Likes Babies” – As David (Joshua Malina) uncovers the truth about the Cytron case, things come to a head for Olivia (Kerry Washington), Cyrus (Jeff Perry), Mellie (Bellamy Young), Hollis (Gregg Henry)m and Verna (Debra Mooney). Backed into a corner, the five conspirators go to extremes and, in some cases, unconscionable lengths to protect themselves and/or the ones they love.
Do No Harm (NBC, 10 p.m.) – “Don’t Answer The Phone” – Jason (Steven Pasquale), furious over Ian’s (also Pasquale) out of control spending, cuts off his cash flow…only to wake up at the wheel of a “borrowed” sports car with a trunk full of money and an angry drug dealer in his rearview mirror. Meanwhile, Jason and Lena (Alana de la Garza) have a falling out over Jason’s questionable conduct, which prompts Ian to make a dangerous after-hours visit to Lena. Dr. Kenneth Jordan (Michael Esper) is also growing suspicious of Jason’s odd behavior, and demands answers from Jason’s confidante, Dr. Ruben Marcado (Lin-Manuel Miranda). And Olivia (Ruta Gedmintas) fears her son’s new imaginary friend is not so imaginary after all.
Archer (FX, 10 p.m.) – “Midnight Ron” – Archer (H. Jon Benjamin) and his stepfather (Ron Leibman) are chased by gangsters.
