On February 26th at 6:30 pm, John's City Diner will host a beer dinner featuring offerings from Avery Brewing Company (Boulder, Colorado).
Avery Brewing Company has been brewing beer since 1993. They take the approach of combining Old World brewing traditions with American ingenuity, creativity and boldness to create unique offerings. They describe their brewing ethos as the following:
"We are dedicated to making beer from the inside out: we brew what we like to drink--with utter disregard for what the market demands-- and search out fans with equally eccentric palates (We learned long ago that expressing your true self is much more fulfilling than giving in to outside pressures. Don't you agree?)"
Following this self-imposed code of brewing, Avery has created a line of beers that boasts over 20 different offerings. I speak from experience when I say that Avery creates some tasty, unique, and affordable craft beers that can meet almost any occasion or pairing.
John's City Diner has always had a reputation of combining Southern comfort food and upscale dining offerings to create a unique dining experience. Combine this approach to menu items with fantastic craft beer options, and you have a recipe for success. It only makes sense to combine the two to create a very nice beer dinner with a great brewery. Here is the menu for this event:
