Golden Globe- and Primetime Emmy-winning actress Sharon Stone stars in the gritty and gripping drama film Border Run inspired by true events. Directed by Gabriela Tagliavini, the top-notch supporting cast includes Billy Zane, Manolo Cardona, Miguel Rodarte and Rosemberg Salgado.
Sharon Stone is Phoenix television reporter Sofie Talbert who is a hard-nosed right-wing journalist. She exposes liberal politicians who are soft on illegal immigration. When her relief worker brother Aaron goes missing in Mexico, she sets out to perform her own south-of-the-border investigation to get him back, utilizing all the resources at her disposal. What she discovers is that nothing is what it seems and no one can be trusted as a war wages on the Arizona/Mexico border. Finding herself trapped in a deadly underworld of migrants, smugglers and cold-blooded murder, she realizes there is no turning back when you cross the border.
