Modern Family (ABC, 9 p.m.) – “Bad Hair Day” – Claire (Julie Bowen) flies solo to her college reunion and runs into a professor (Maxwell Caulfield) she once dated, but when Phil (Ty Burrell) shows up things get really awkward. Back at home, Jay (Ed O’Neill) is obsessed with winning his big bowling tournament, and Gloria (Sofia Vergara) is running ragged with the baby but won't admit it. Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) offers to take baby Joe for a while, and Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) seizes the opportunity to use him in one of his elaborate photo shoots. However, a wig malfunction leads to unfortunate results and no one wants to be the one to face Gloria.

Supernatural (The CW, 9 p.m.) – “Man’s Best Friend with Benefits” – A police officer named Kevin (guest star Christian Campbell), who turned to witchcraft after working a case with Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles), is plagued by nightmares in which he murders innocent people. However, when the murders actually happen, Sam and Dean are called in by Kevin’s “familiar” (guest star Mishael Morgan) to help-- but the brothers aren’t sure they want to save a witch.

Suburgatory (ABC, 9:30 p.m.) – "T-Ball and Sympathy" – When Tessa (Jane Levy) becomes a relationship expert, she gives advice to everyone (even people who don't ask for it). She decides to help Mr. Wolfe (Rex Lee), and this leads to a sad realization about his relationship with Chef Alan (Evan Arnold). Meanwhile Noah (Alan Tudyk) and Dallas (Cheryl Hines) are still at odds, and George (Jeremy Sisto) helps Dallas coach a T-Ball team.

Southland (TNT, 10 p.m.) – “Heat” – Ben (Ben McKenzie) gets a little too personally invested when Mendoza (guest stars Chad Michael Murray) gets shot, while Lydia (Regina King) probes the death of a female boxer’s husband and manager, and friction reaches its breaking point for Cooper (Michael Cudlitz) and his trainee.
