Based off the popular cult favorite video game series Silent Hill by Konami, comes the horror film Silent Hill: Revelation written and directed by Michael J. Bassett. It is the sequel to the 2006 film Silent Hill and the cast includes Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Deborah Kara Unger, Martin Donovan, Malcolm McDowell, Carrie-Anne Moss and Sean Bean.
After the events that transpired in Silent Hill, Rose Da Silva and her daughter Sharon had been trapped in Silent Hill, an alternate dimension covered with fallen ash, until Rose found a way to send Sharon back to the real world. Since then, Sharon and her father Christopher have been on the run trying to stay one step ahead of the cult that is after them. Although with no memories of what had occurred years ago, Sharon continues to suffer from recurring nightmares that have plagued her since childhood.
On the eve of her 18th birthday in a new town and new school, the cult has found Sharon and her father. Determined to bring her back to Silent Hill, they kidnap her father and lure her to the demonic world once more. Through her fellow student Vincent -- who turns out to be the cult leader Claudia Wolf’s son -- and her father’s journal, Sharon learns that she is the manifestation of the good side of Alessa’s soul -- the girl who had been tormented and severely burned by the cult. Forced into a battle of good versus evil in the alternate reality, Sharon fights to find answers, save her father and get justice for Alessa.
The DVD and Blu-ray include the special featurette “A Look Inside Silent Hill: Revelation.” Exclusively on Blu-ray are BD-Live, pocket BLU, My Scenes and D-Box Motion Enabled.
