Every day there are thousands of homeless pets in shelters in metro Atlanta who all have the same wish - a forever home. They are dreaming of waking up in a home where they are loved and cherished and are a member of the family.
Throughout the month of July Furkids and SmallDog Rescue and Humane Society in metro Atlanta is offering an adoption special for all black dogs – the adoption fee is reduced from $275 to $100. Click here for more information on this adoption special.
All month I will be featuring Furkids black dogs who want to be your furry forever buddy. These adorable pooches want nothing more than their very own human, plenty of food, a friend to play with and a warm place to sleep at night.
Today’s featured dog is Koda - a four-month old male Terrier/Staffordshire Bull mix. Here is more about Koda from the Furkids’ website:
AGood Samaritan found Koda's mom, Delilah, wandering on the side of the road. Delilah was pregnant at the time and in serious need of food, water and a safe place to stay. The Good Samaritan took Delilah into her home and kept her until Delilah's five puppies were born and all, including Delilah, were ready to find their forever homes. Koda's siblings' names are Diva, Pebble, Rock and Tiny Tuxedo. Koda walks well on a leash and is doing very good on his potting training.
