Today’s spotlight is on Leesa Myers, a positive change consultant, hypnotist, and more importantly, owner of KLMyers Inc. I had a chance to find out more about her company this week. Here is some of what we discussed:
- What do you do?
I work with clients to create change in their internal subconscious programming that keeps them in pain, suffering and addictive behaviors. Creating long term positive results; through Positive Change Consulting and Hypnosis. I have for purchase Positive Change Hypnosis CD’s and Hypnosis and Coaching Program" Moving From the Basement to the Penthouse, Entering the Elevator of Success”.
As an Interfaith Minister, I officiate at weddings and commitment ceremonies for the LGBT community.
I also have a radio show on women’s issues Mondays at noon, on BlogTalkRadio.com/LeesaMyers and am a columnist in QSaltLake.com/Momsview.
- Why do you offer what you do?
90.9% of humans live from their negative programming in their youth….not because they can’t see it, but because they don’t know what to do about it. Unfortunately, living this way causes illness, unhappiness, wrecked marriages, lost jobs, thoughts of suicide, debt and despair.
Life is meant to be happy, to be joyous, to be fun and well lived. Life is not meant to be ongoing suffering, hurt and heartache. It takes courage to say “YES” to change and to create a better life.
Wedding and commitment ceremonies are a love for me, and I feel honored when a couple asks me to be a part of their special day.
The MomsView column is a place to connect with other parents of the LGBT community and a place I give back to the community that accepts me with love.
- Did you have any problems with your business that you have overcome to get to where you are today?
In January 2012, I closed Inspiration Station LLP with my business partner. I completely re-branded my business which meant new website, social media, business cards, brochures, etc. I needed to get real clear on what my passions were and how I could provide a service to clients.
A very wise client told me recently that entrepreneur’s fail more than they succeed; the difference between successful and unsuccessful entrepreneurs is the successful ones are passionate about what they do and keep moving forward.
- What is the most enjoyable aspect of running your business?
The most enjoyable aspect is when I see clients leave happier than when they came to see me. They have hope and are seeing positive changes in their lives.
