Every day there are thousands of homeless pets in shelters in metro Atlanta who all have the same wish - a forever home. They are dreaming of waking up in a home where they are loved and cherished and are a member of the family.

Throughout the month of August Furkids in metro Atlanta is offering a two-for-one adoption special - two kittens for $125, two adult cats (one year or older) for $85 or two senior cats (eight years or older) for $45. Click here for more information on this adoption special.

All month I will be featuring Furkids kitty pairs who want to be your furry forever friends. These adorable sweethearts want nothing more than their very own human and a warm place to sleep at night.

Today’s featured cats are Chelsea and Stinker – two-month old gray tabby kittens. Here is more about them from the Furkids’ website:

Chelsea was abandoned at a Petco when she was just three weeks old. She was hungry and being so tiny couldn't eat solid food. She was placed in a foster home and bottle fed. Chelsea grew and is ready for a home of her own. Her foster mom says she's the sweetest thing and just loves her buddy Stinker who was also an orphan. In her foster homes are kids, dogs, and adult cats. She gets along with everyone. Especially the dogs! Chelsea loves to play but will curl up in a lap to take a nap. There is no animal she doesn't get along with so she will be a good fit in any home.

Stinker was rescued from an animal control shelter when he was just two weeks old. He was too young to eat solid food, so he was placed in a foster home and bottle fed. Stinker grew and became a sweet boy who is now ready for a home of his own. His foster mom is pretty sure he never stops purring. In his foster home are kids, dogs, cats, and another kitten who he is buddies with. His adoptive sister is Chelsea, who like Stinker was an orphan. She is his buddy and they would love to be adopted together. Please consider giving Stinker a home. He's playful but loves a warm lap and snuggle time. There is no animal he doesn't get along with so he will be a good fit anywhere!
