On September 21-22, animal lovers in metro Atlanta will have a special opportunity to tour Georgia’s largest cage-free, no-kill shelter for homeless cats, when Furkids holds its annual open house and tour. Lots of Furkids’ cats and dogs will be on site for meeting and greeting potential volunteers, adopters and foster caregivers. Click here for more information on the Open House event.
Between now and the Open House weekend, I will be featuring Furkids’ kitties who are available for adoption.
Savannah is a six-year old solid black female kitty. Here is her description from the Furkids’ website:
Savannah is an amazingly wonderful girl who has been overlooked for much too long. She has been a resident of the Furkids shelter for most of her life, but she is the kind of kitty that just goes with the flow. Savannah has a list of great qualities that she would like for us to tell you about: she makes excellent biscuits, gives great head-butts, and rolls over for belly rubs.
Savannah is so friendly and will greet you at the door to rub up against your legs when she wants attention. When she is chilling in a cat bed, she will welcome anyone who comes over to visit with purrs. She has a beautiful onyx fur coat that is quite luxurious and will enjoy receiving as much petting as you are willing to bestow.
Someone is missing out on what could be the perfect companion for life! Savannah is truly an affectionate girl who deserves to find a forever home. She has waited patiently, so please consider adopting her so Savannah can experience what it is like to be a pampered cat.
