Featured Furkid: Mercury

Every day there are thousands of homeless pets in shelters in metro Atlanta who all have the same wish - a forever home. They are dreaming of waking up in a home where they are loved and cherished and are a member of the family.

Throughout the month of June Furkids in metro Atlanta is offering an adoption special - $9 for any cat nine months old or older. Click here for more information on this adoption special.

All month I will be featuring Furkids kitties who want to be your furry forever friend. These adorable sweethearts want nothing more than their very own human and a warm place to sleep at night.

Today’s featured pet is Mercury - a two-year old male domestic short hair kitty. Here is more about Mercury from the Furkids’ Facebook page:

I am a super cute young boy with lots of energy. I enjoy playing with fun kitty toys and will entertain my family with my kitty tricks. I get along with other cats (particularly my great sister Sterling) and would have lots of fun playing with your children and possibly dogs, too. I have great markings with my mostly white fur with lots of dark gray spots. I am seeking humans who will give me and Sterling lots of love and attention. We are fun loving and like to cuddle and play....are you ready for twice the love and happiness that we can give you?
