Every day there are thousands of homeless pets in shelters in metro Atlanta who all have the same wish - a forever home. They are dreaming of waking up in a home where they are loved and cherished and are a member of the family.
All month I will be featuring Furkids kitties who want to be your furry forever friend. These adorable sweethearts want nothing more than their very own human and a warm place to sleep at night.
Today’s featured pet is Mercer - a one and a half year old male domestic short hair brown tabby. Here is what he posted on the Furkids’ Facebook page earlier this week:
My name is Mercer and I have come a long way in this world. I started out a little on the shy side, but with all of the love and care that I have received at Furkids, I have developed into a very loving guy who enjoys attention and petting immensely. I am well-known by the staff due to my distinct meow. I am very vocal, so I will be a great conversationalist. I look forward to our talks. I just know we are going to become the best of friends once you take me home. I'm a handsome brown tabby who will be a great addition to your family. I get along well with other cats, too. Please consider giving me a forever home. I will be very grateful. Apply to meet me today!
