Melman and his siblings are available for adoption from Furkids in metro Atlanta

Every day there are thousands of homeless pets in shelters in metro Atlanta who all have the same wish - a forever home. They are dreaming of waking up in a home where they are loved and cherished and are a member of the family.

Throughout the month of July Furkids in metro Atlanta is offering a two-for-one adoption special - two kittens for $125, two adult cats (one year or older) for $85 or two senior cats (eight years or older) for $45. Click here for more information on this adoption special.

All month I will be featuring Furkids kitties who want to be your furry forever friend. These adorable sweethearts want nothing more than their very own human and a warm place to sleep at night.

Today’s featured cat is Melman – a three-month old black and white male tuxedo kitten. Here is more about Melman from the Furkids’ website:

Hi, I’m Melman, and I’m one of the four Madagascar III kittens! My siblings and I were four of nine (yes, nine!) kittens that were left abandoned in a box by an animal hospital’s front door one day. I was only three weeks old at the time. Luckily, there was a Furkids’ foster that worked at the hospital, and she called Furkids for help to find a foster for the other five kittens. Then she took my siblings and me to her home where she gave us lots of warm kitten formula and attention. I am a very loving and playful kitten that can purr with the best of them. Out of my siblings, I go the craziest for catnip toys and tickle my foster mom by tumbling around with them. Just like my movie namesake, I am a real lover and can knead and give head bonks to you all day. I am searching to find the perfect place to call my forever home. Will that be with you?
