Furkids is making it easier to add a little furry love to your life by offering an adoption special on all kittens under one year old. Adoption fees during this promotion have been cut in half - $125 for two kittens or $62.50 for a single kitten. You will not find a better deal anywhere in town for a lifetime of love and companionship. And kittens are just like potato chips – you can’t have just one. This adoption special will be in effect until 150 kittens find their forever homes. Click here to read more about this adoption special.
Throughout this promotion I will be featuring Furkids’ kitties who are available for adoption at this special price.
Lazarus is a black five-month old male kitten. Here is his description from the Furkids’ website (written by his rescuer/foster mom):
I first met Lazarus in the middle of a busy road in west midtown Atlanta. He was injured, scared, and barely moving as cars swerved around him. I had just dropped off my last group of fosters at an adoption center and so had an empty carrier next to me in the car. I picked up the little black furball from the street and took him home, where I discovered he had several deep and very infected wounds. It looked as though he had been attacked by a dog or larger cat. I rushed him to an emergency vet where he was minimally treated.
Laz spent the next several days in the hospital receiving treatment for infection, pneumonia, and severe dehydration. He came home to me still scrawny and with a silly haircut but with a new will to live.
Lazarus has now made a full recovery and is a playful, cuddly boy. Named for a man whom Jesus raised from death, Lazarus' name tells his story. He is one of the coolest cats I have ever met. He walks with a sweet swagger, proud of all he has overcome. Cool with cats, dogs, and strangers, Laz will make a great addition to any home.
