Featured Furkid: Jenna and Tinker

Every day there are thousands of homeless pets in shelters in metro Atlanta who all have the same wish - a forever home. They are dreaming of waking up in a home where they are loved and cherished and are a member of the family.

Throughout the month of July Furkids in metro Atlanta is offering a two-for-one adoption special - two kittens for $125, two adult cats (one year or older) for $85 or two senior cats (eight years or older) for $45. Click here for more information on this adoption special.

All month I will be featuring Furkids kitties who want to be your furry forever friend. These adorable sweethearts want nothing more than their very own human and a warm place to sleep at night.

Today’s featured cats are Jenna and Tinker. These two siblings are three-month old domestic short hair female kitties. Jenna and Tinker are bonded and must be adopted together. Here is their description from the Furkids’ website:

Hi, my name is Jenna and I was rescued along with my mom and siblings when she was still pregnant with us. A nice lady took her in and we were born cute, happy, and healthy...all SEVEN of us! We love to play with each other, and we are very friendly! We like other cats, and all people; and we don't even seem to mind the dog we know either. My foster mom says I am a precious girl with interesting markings that seem to be a mix of tabby and calico, the best of both worlds. Just call me a Tabbico!

Hi, my name is Tinker. My foster mom says I am an adorable girl who looks like I am wearing a cow costume. My black and white markings are uniquely mine and I have a precious pink nose!

In 2013, Furkids saved 1,597 dogs and cats and found forever homes for 1,351 dogs and cats. As of May 31 of this year, Furkids has saved 1,046 animals and adopted out 725 animals. Click here to read more about Furkids’ mission and history.
