Featured FIV+ Furkid: Scraps

Scraps is available for adoption from Furkids in metro Atlanta

FIV-positive cats deserve forever homes and Furkids in metro Atlanta is helping make that a reality by waiving all adoption fees for their FIV-positive kitties and offering free medical care for one year. Click here for more information on this special promotion.

FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus - it is a virus that affects a cat’s immune system. FIV weakens the immune system making them more vulnerable to other infections. However, FIV-positive cats can live safely with FIV-negative cats.

During this special promotion I will be featuring Furkids’ FIV-positive kitties who are available for adoption. Today’s featured cat is Scraps - here is his description from the Furkids’ website:

My name may be Scraps, but I am not just a leftover kitty. I am a cool guy who is thankful to now be a Furkid. I am searching for a great home where I can have my own human to love and take care of me. Isn't that a dream of most of us? I am a white guy with tabby markings, a white tip on the end of my tail, and a cute black dot on my nose- not too scrappy. I am considered a special needs kitty due to my FIV+ status, but that is nothing to worry about. I am in good health and will need minimal extra consideration. I am just a happy cat who wants to bring more joy to your life. Please consider giving me a great home today!
