Formed in 1998, the group began their career experimenting with all aspects of electronic music in pursuit of a unique sound. Combining everything from 80’s electro to progressive house, Swanky Tunes continue to release unparalleled tracks with a keen ability to makes sounds “bigger.” Their unmistakable and flawless productions have firmly cemented their position high atop the electronic music hierarchy.
Notable in radio mixes and live sets by some of the most famous electronic artists in the world, Swanky Tunes’ songs are heavily supported by the likes of the Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, Tiësto and Armin Van Buuren (to name a few). Having earned the utmost respect of their contemporaries, Swanky Tunes continue to raise musical standards with their productions. Their most recent release, with fellow Russians Matisse & Sadko, entitled “The Legend” [Refune] was the opening song played on both A State of Trance 545 and Refune Radio #001. Moreover, their 2011 mega-collaboration with R3hab & Max C. “Sending My Love”[Wall], continues to capture audiences worldwide, further displaying Swanky Tunes’ ability to raise the bar when it comes to house music. The pureness and creativity with which Swanky Tunes continually produce bridges a gap between underground and commercial styles making them not only ingenious, but innovative as well.
Recently, the Russian trio announced a North American tour spanning the middle two weeks of February. Escaping the frigid weather of Russia, the group will make the long trip across the globe bringing their infusion of big-room synthesizers and bass-pounding drops to nightclubs nationwide. Beginning on the 9th of February in Santa Ana, California, the tour will feature stops at some of North America’s finest venues – soon bringing Swanky Tunes’ unforgettable sound to every corner of the continent.
