There is a new feature film shooting in North Seattle this May. “Worst Laid Plans” is a dark comedy written by local character Mark Jones with story help from CB Shamah.

“Worst Laid Plans” will be filmed in the former Top Tattoo parlor at 200th and Aurora Ave.

The cast includes a slate of Seattle riff raff, including lead singer of rock quartet Hounds of the Wild Hunt Nicholas Anderson, Tim Gouran, James Grixoni, and screenwriter Mark Jones playing a role written explicitly for himself.

“Worst Laid Plans” is a sharply hilarious story about four friends who find themselves in dire straits when they get behind in rent. To come up with some fast cash, they hatch a plan to make a quick killing...but their biggest obstacle is not killing each other first.

The movie is being directed and produced by Creative Differences, the same team behind the Emmy-award nominated “Welcome to Doe Bay” documentary. It is aiming for a Fall 2014 release.
