Hopefully, you have filed your taxes by now and, like the rest of America, are just awaiting your refund check from the State and Federal governments. Now, based off of your individual income and financial situation, you are either going to be expecting a big fat check, or a smaller (less exciting) check…which is why we have come up with two different menus for you to celebrate with. Here then, are the two selections: one menu for those getting a healthy sum back and another menu for those who are getting a smaller sum back (or who even may have had to pay!).

If you are lucky enough to be getting money back, we suggest a luxurious and upscale feast:

Appetizer:
Lobster Crab Bisque, Grilled Diver Sea Scallops (Drizzled with Aged Sherry)

Salad:
Organic Field Greens, White Stilton Gold Cheese, Prosciutto di Parma and 25-Year Old Balsamic Vinaigrette

Main Course:
Seared Foie Gras, Caramelized Figs, Black Bread, Cracked Pepper and Himalayan Sea Salt
(or…)
Sliced Wagyu Steak, Porcini Risotto, Ramps and Whit Asparagus, Truffle Demi-Glace

Dessert:
Any variety of desserts you want from your favorite artisan pastry shop

Drink:
Veuve Clicquot Cocktail

(And pay a private chef to prepare and serve the entire meal!)

If you ended up having to pay the government, we suggest this menu (which is also delicious):

Appetizer:
Manhattan Clam and Bay Scallop Chowder

Main Course:
Grilled Chicken Liver Skewers, Lemon Pepper and Olive Oil

Salad:
Iceberg Wedge Salad, Blue Cheese Dressing and Bacon Bits

Soup:
Curry Beef and Root Vegetable Stew, Naan Bread

Dessert:
A variety of ‘on-sale’ ice creams from your favorite super market

Drink:
Domestic Beer…or Water
