President Obama admitted to being "scared of my wife" after a recent U.N. roundtable discussion this week, according to ABC News, and USA Today reported on Sept. 23 that investors' fears were now subsiding, but they wouldn't have if there fears of a market crash had proved true.
Dr. David Jeremiah says that fear is driving too many Americans and it has to stop, which is why he has created a new television series to help with that goal. So while the president is fearful of the First Lady catching him smoking a cigarette--which is why he doesn't do it anymore--the rest of us have our own fears to battle and try to overcome, and the good doctor wants to help.
So how can Dr. Jeremiah, a doctor of Biblical studies, not medicine, help the average person-religious or not--overcome their fears? He may not be able to, actually, as it depends upon the person being willing to let the Word of God be read, heard and obeyed in order to have this victory. But what does anyone have to lose from just watching the television series and then deciding for themselves if what they hear makes sense and helps them get over their fear?
Each week's episode deals with a different type of fear, with the premier show episode touching on fear of natural disaster and the general fears that entail the chaos that comes with such things as fires, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods and landslides.
The second episode, which aired Sunday night, deals with the fear of serious illness. And who among us doesn't have some loved one dealing with that fear or reality?
Upcoming shows, to air every Sunday from now through Nov. 10, will feature topics such as the fear of financial collapse, the fear of failure, the fear of being alone, the fear of rejection, the fear of sudden trouble and the fear of mental breakdown. Do any of those speak to you?
The quality of the films are exceptional, with the acting as good as any Emmy award-winner recognized by Hollywood this year. So grab some popcorn and let Dr. David Jeremiah and his talented staff entertain you as you learn how to overcome your fears. After all, what do you have to lose? It's free.
