Welcome Fellow Gamers! The Fear series is known for bending your mind during game play. In previous incarnations of Fear, Alma, the main villan/character, who is the product craziness with her enhanced psychic energy does a number with your gaming reality almost from jump. In Fear 3 it starts off a bit slower than its predessecors. Before I continue I’m going to release some series spoilers so if your big on storylines stop now and go play the original 2 available at your local video game retailer.
This game picks up with Alma’s two sons breaking free from maximum security facility after being captured at the end of the exploits in Fear 2. The brothers are identified as Point Man, the living brother with the exceptional tactical weapons ability, and his brother referred to as Fettal, the psychic incarnation of the brother “Point Man” killed in the last game. Right, sick.
Both brothers have exceptional psychic abilities. Fettal, the stronger of the two in psychic abilities, can fire energy blast from his hands to damage enemies, psychically suspend enemies in the air and even possess them and force them to attack other squad members. Point Man’s main psychic ability is slowing down time which adds to his already deadly pin point accuracy and ability to use multiple weapons. If either brother is downed during combat the other can revive them psychically as long as they’re close enough.
