In an effort to show gratitude for the City of New York’s brave first responders of Engine 4 Ladder 15, Iovate Health Sciences International Inc., under its brand name EPIQ, and GNC teamed up to refurbish the station’s gym with all new fitness equipment such as treadmills, a dumbbell rack and medicine balls, as well as new top of the line EPIQ supplements.
The firehouse had suffered a total loss of its fitness equipment as a result of flooding from Hurricane Sandy.
Director, Brand Management - Sports Nutrition of Iovate Health Sciences Inc. Brent Coward presented the equipment to Captain David Drake, a 16-year veteran of the FDNY.
