Current TNA superstar Hulk Hogan is a member of a large group of celebrities that have been targeted by hackers. Over the last few days, this list of celebrities has grown and it has triggered an FBI investigation. According to a March 12 report by TMZ.com, the FBI sent warnings to the identified celebrities, including Hogan, to contact their banks immediately and have a fraud alert placed on their accounts.
The FBI wants the celebrities to take action before they lose all of their money. This alert will prompt the banks to monitor any transaction. If someone tries to access the funds, the bank will contact the celebrity and notify law enforcement if the transaction was unauthorized (hacked).
At this time, it's unclear as to how much money Hogan has lost, if any. There are two celebrities that haven't had any money stolen as of yet, but they still remain targets. In addition to Hogan, other celebrities hacked were: Jay Z, Beyonce, Mel Gibson, Kim Kardashian, Ashton Kutcher, Paris Hilton and Hillary Clinton.
There are no further details as to if the FBI has any leads on the identities of the hackers.
