On September 25, the FBI released a shocking new video on YouTube of Navy Yard shooter, Aaron Alexis stalking his way through the hallways of building 197 with a shotgun, seemlying is a search for victims.
The 31 second video shows Alexis entering the building, then moving through hallways and stairwells with a shotgun in hand. At one point Alexis spots what appears to be a group of people at the end of a hallway, then hides behind a wall before sneaking down the hallway toward them.
Officials allege that Alexis entered building 197 on September 16, then went on a hunt for victims throughout the building. He reported shot 16 people; killing 12 and injuring four others, before he was shot and killed inside the building.
USA Today reports that Assistant FBI Director Valerie Parlave says Aaron Alexis believed he was under to a “ultra-low frequency attack” for three months before his shooting rampage. Parlave also reported that Alexis said that the “attack” was what drove him to carry out the massacre.
