The FBI this morning issued a national alert in the manhunt for Arthur Eugene Morgan III, whose 2-year-old daughter, Tierra Morgan-Glover, was tossed into the Jersey Shore’s Shark River while still strapped into her car seat.
“Law enforcement is working around the clock on this manhunt,” FBI Special Agent Bryan Travers said this morning, asking that people not only keep a lookout but also spread the word (Click here to see the full WANTED poster).
Working with the FBI are U.S. Marshals and law enforcement agencies in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
The bald, brown-eyed Morgan -- 5'6" to 5'8" and about 165 pounds -- is 27 and uses a variety of aliases, including Arthur Glover and Eugene Rossi, the FBI said.
He has a tattoo on his left hand and tattoos on both arms, and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Which means: If you see him, don’t approach him. Dial 911 immediately.
“Morgan was supposed to return the child to her mother on September 21st, following a custody visit,” the FBI official release says. “When Morgan failed to return the child, he was charged in the Ocean County Superior Court with endangering the welfare of a child and interference with child custody, and a state warrant was issued for his arrest.
