Another busy weekend of running is set for this Father’s Day weekend of June 14 -15, 2014.
The big one will be the George Sheehan Classic on Saturday in Red Bank. It starts on Friday night with kid’s races at marine Park along the Navesink River. The kid’s races are always lots of fun for the kid’s parents and spectators alike with clowns, and an assortment of snacks and goodies for the participants who run distances based on their age. Sign-ups for the big race on Saturday will also be available at Marine Park.

Sunday, June 15, 8:00 a.m. 3, 6, 10 plus miles, Sunday Run, Bodman Park, Middletown, N.J.
Sunday, June 15, 10 a.m. 5K, Anthony's Run, Staten Island, N.Y
