Springs Spree has so many exciting activities that dads and kids will enjoy. This year there will be a load of entertainment including nationally known artists like, James Otto, Kelleigh Bannen, and Brothers Osborne, and many others. The Kids Spree Village will have a “Gravity Play” area, an exciting ropes course over water where dad can challenge his family to a test of strength and endurance. In addition, there will be a full carnival, vendors, 5k/10k run, and Car and Bike Show to enjoy as well.
The Cripple Creek Rodeo (Teller County Fairgrounds, 501 West Golden Teller County Road 1, Cripple Creek, CO 80813) will bring out the inner cowboy and cowgirl in your family. There will be two days of Mutton Busting, a street dance, and Team Roping Jackpot. The rodeo competitions will include: bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, and so much more. Children ages 3-7 (weighing less than 60lbs.) can get a taste of a cowboy’s life and ride a sheep to win a prize. You can park in town and take a shuttle to the fairgrounds.
