If dad enjoys a fine rum libation, here's a couple of good suggestions that feature world famous Guatemalan rum to celebrate the occasion of Father's Day.

Botran Vanilla Rum Cola

4 ounces cola
1 1/2 oz Botran Solera 1893
3 drops vanilla extract
slice of orange
ice cubes

method: in a tumbler, add three drops of vanilla extract and the rum. Add ice and stir gently to combine the liquids. Pour cola to fill the glass and float a thick slice of orange at the top.

The smooth rum and creamy vanilla combine with the cola to create a delicious mixed drink. The orange slice provides an outstanding accompaniment with delightful aromas of tropical citrus.

1 1/2 oz Botran Reserva
splash of ginger ale
slice of orange
ice cubes

method: fill a tumbler with ice and pour the rum slowly over the cubes. Stir gently to chill the rum. Finish with a splash of good ginger ale or ginger beer and garnish with a speared orange slice.
