Readers may recall a handsome pup who was rescued from the Harris County, Texas, Animal Control in early December.
The pup, dubbed "Foyle," had a gaping wound in his face - it is believed that he had been struck with a shovel.
Foyle not only survived the devastating injury, but he has recovered thanks to extraordinary veterinary care from Dr. Pickle at the Alvin-Friendswood Veterinary Clinic, and the support of his rescuers.
Today, the final piece of Foyle's rescue saga has yet to be completed...he needs a home.
Robin Weill, who played a critical part in Foyle's rescue, emailed:
He is currently with The Texas Dogfather in Katy, Texas. He will complete his training very soon and is ready for adoption. Both he and his brother need foster or adoption homes.
Please take a moment to share Foyle's story - if you are unable to offer this little survivor a home, please pass the story along with the hopes that it reaches the right person who can add this lovely boy to their life.
