Vail Mountain

Vail Mountain hosts Décimo, an elevated event located at 10,250 feet above sea level at The 10th. Décimo is slated for Fat Tuesday, March 4, aka tonight, featuring three-time Grammy nominee, DJ, producer and artist Paul Oakenfold.

Paul Oakenfold, recognized as the original pioneer of DJ culture and one of its most recognizable icons, will headline the evening. From the DJ booth of the world’s hottest dance floors and festivals to the studio producing groundbreaking remixes or soundtracks for Hollywood blockbuster movies, Oakenfold’s diversity as an artist and ability as a performer have earned him accolades from critics and fans the world over.

The event will begin at the base of Vail’s Gondola One in Vail Village. From there, guests will be carried to mid-mountain in the gondola’s state-of-the-art cabins, complete with heated seats and Wi-Fi access. Just steps away from the top of the gondola, The 1oth will undergo a carefully orchestrated transformation for Décimo from Vail’s newest fine dining restaurant to a chic, dynamic nightspot, according to Vail.

Gondola One will open at 9 p.m. for ticketed guests over the age of 21 with proper identification and adhering to the mountain-chic dress code. For information on tickets and various VIP packages, visit or call 970-754-CIMO (2466).
