This is pt 2 of 3 of an interview with Fastkill's Toshio Komori by Nick Perkel

With your new album Bestial Thrashing Bulldozer what would you say are the real crazy fast songs of the album?

All the songs are really fast and crazy because we are a real thrash metal band. One thing is the song title Toxic Tormenter is slower than other songs. It is in the classic style of thrash metal. It is in a nice speed to bang your head.

So what would you are your favorite songs from that album?

In Thrash We Trust,

Die in the Pentagram,

Stench of Hell,

Guillotine Attack,

and Toxic Tormenter.

You had a split with fellow Japanese Thrashers Abigail back in 2007 with the Far East Necromancers Split, Would you be interested in having Abigail’s Singer Yasuyuki Suzuki contribute vocals for a future Fastkill Album?

Yeah that’s a good idea, I would like to do that. I’ll talk to him about it. I would like to do that this year.

I noticed you had a cover of Agents of Steel on that split as well, What are some of your favorite bands from California like in Los Angeles and San Francisco/The Bay Area?

Exodus, Vio-Lence, Laaz Rocket, Defiance, Slayer, Possessed, Autopsy, Sadus, lots of great bands.

Any plans for a new split anytime soon?

We will release a new split with Xanadoo from Singapore and also have plans with NadimaC from Serbia?

You do have 7” vinyl splits of some releases like Far East Necromancers with Abigail, are there any plans for getting Infernal Thrashing Holocaust, Nuclear Thrashing Attack, or Bestial Thrashing Bulldozer pressed onto vinyl this year?

We have no plans now but if we get a chance we would like to release all our albums on vinyl

Do you have any plans for Fastkill to perform any American Concerts in New York City, Los Angeles, or maybe in Texas or Chicago?

No plans for now, but we really want to go to the US in the near future and play with the great bands over there.

Have you ever thought of getting on any big festival concerts like the Maryland Death Fest in America or Wacken in Germany?

Of course I want to perform there. It’s a chance to appeal our sounds in a performance to lots of metalheads. Last year we played in the KL Metal Camp in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and last year supported Destruction’s tour in Taiwan. Those were the biggest shows for us to play in front of many people makes me excited so much.

What kind of international concerts would you like Fastkill to get booked on in the next year or two?

No plans yet, but we are contacting several organizers about our next tour. I hope to be able to play all over the world

What is the one concert of yours that you will always think of as being the most memorable Fastkill concert, and why is that?

That’s a hard question. I played with Razor at True Thrash Fest in Osaka, with Destruction in Taiwan, Bangkok Thrash in Thailand. KL Metal Camp is special for me, it was the first show in front of the biggest crowd for us, and the people were very kind. I was surprised there are lots of metal fans in Malaysia. I am getting in touch with Malaysia friends now and played with the death metal band Humiliation from Malaysia on their tour of Japan. It was a really great experience!

What is your favorite thing to do after a really great concert?

To take a shower ASAP laughs and beer and girls. Laughs

Now what is Fastkill’s Favorite beer, name a couple?

Asahi Super Dry and Yebisu.

Personally Toshio What music do you enjoy the most Hardcore Punk, Thrash Metal, or Grindcore?

I always enjoy Thrash Metal every day but I like other fast and catchy tunes like Hardcore Punk, regardless of musical categorization. Fast is justice that’s all.

Pt 3 the final part includes conversations about yakuza and horror movies, including what type of role Toshio would play in a yakuza film of his choosing, what type of imagery goes into the writing of Fastkill's lyrics, and who would make good tour mates for Fastkill on an American or European tour.
